Michael Streifer is the Director at our Montclair clinic. He graduated from Rutgers University in 2018 with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy
. He also has an Advanced Research Certification and is currently a published author in the esteemed Journal of Orthopedic and Sports Therapy (JOSPT). His research background gives him a unique perspective on the importance of utilizing the most recent and high-quality evidence in patient care.
In addition to research, Dr. Streifer’s clinical experience varies across multiple settings; primarily focusing on acute trauma and outpatient orthopedics. This background has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of how to treat various conditions, including but not limited to:
- Joint diseases
- Joint pain
- Dementia-related falls
- Post-operative states
- Sports injuries
In all settings, Dr. Streifer optimizes patient function by channeling his background in health and exercise science, personal training, research, and his DPT education. He is also an advocate for the field of physical therapy and is driven to represent only the highest quality of his respective profession.

Beyond working with Pro Staff, Michael Streifer is a tutor fo the National Physical Therapy Examination, motivating physical therapy students from around the country and helping them pass the licensing exam. Outside of the physical therapy profession, he is an avid tennis player and enjoys dabbling in the electric guitar. He also enjoys reading books, listening to podcasts, and watching reruns of Seinfeld.
