The Pro Staff Physical Therapy and Dynamic Hand Therapy team believes in treating our patients, not just their injuries or conditions. Our licensed physical therapists and occupational therapists customize individual therapeutic plans utilizing the latest technology and practices to assist patients in returning to their everyday lives.

Although the rehabilitation industry is rapidly changing, the Pro Staff principles and values remain unchanged: provide high quality care in a fun, friendly and encouraging environment. Our commitment to treating our clients like family has enabled our business to grow to eight locations in New Jersey so we can help more people “Rehab to Better Health.”

Our Mission

Pro Staff therapists treat a diverse population ranging from young athletes to seniors. Our highly trained therapists take a hands-on approach and utilize a variety of exercise programs and manual techniques. Each member contributes to the team’s wide range of experience in orthopedics, sports medicine, total joint replacement, neck/spine rehabilitation, vestibular/balance rehab, and much more.

This wealth of knowledge and skill enables Pro Staff to also offer a wide range of specialized programs including sports training, prevention/maintenance, nutrition, and wellness.

Our Treatment Philosophy

Our treatment philosophy is completely patient-centered. The Pro Staff team develops a treatment and care plan based on your preferred activity level and prior experiences to help achieve the quickest recovery. Though onsite treatment and exercise initiate a return to function, self-education and adherence to a home exercise program are necessary to fully benefit from treatment. It’s up to you to communicate the intensity, frequency, and duration of any pain to your PT so that he or she can then adjust the treatment plan.

Pro Staff Physical Therapy and Dynamic Hand Therapy is a provider corporation headquartered in Nutley, New Jersey. The company is a subsidiary of Pro Staff Institute, LLC which manages a network of outpatient physical rehabilitation centers in the Garden State.

The Pro Staff companies were founded in 2010 by Frank Pavlisko and Michael Maffucci. Through Frank’s 25 plus years experience in Physical Therapy and Michael’s experience in Management Services, our goal is to exceed customer expectations by providing the highest quality of service in a fun, family friendly, and encouraging environment.
