Dr. Janelle Bang PT, DPT
Dr. Janelle Bang PT, DPT earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Rutgers University in 2016. She also earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science with a double minor in biology and psychology from Rutgers University in 2013. Since 2016, Janelle has treated in several outpatient orthopedic clinics across the northern New Jersey area and has experience in treating patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and post-operative orthopedic procedures across all age groups.
Janelle believes that what sets physical therapy apart is the long-lasting and trusting relationship that develops between the clinician and the patient. This allows for open communication and a more collaborative treatment approach when it comes to establishing and achieving the patient’s functional goals. She also believes that physical therapy is just as much preventative as it is rehabilitative.
Janelle was a competitive track athlete in high school, but currently enjoys hiking, snowboarding, and playing basketball and flag football in her spare time. Her own experience with injuries and her love of sports initially ignited her passion for physical therapy, but it continues to grow through new experiences, evidence-based research, and continuing education.
