Before I came to Pro staff I was experiencing sharp pain in my elbow, biceps, and shoulder. I thought it would go away after a week of rest. Five weeks later I saw the sport’s doctor, was referred to physical therapy and found Pro Staff online. The staff are knowledgeable, kind, patient, and fun (there were plenty of laughs). The therapist I was assigned to was Tia. Let me just say thank you Tia for giving me grace as I am a hard headed cross fitter who doesn’t like to be limited physically or in life. Tia and I had plenty of conversations where she would educate me on the importance of taking baby steps and giving me an anatomy lesson as to why. Tia never yelled/lectured me for lifting a barbell over my head less than a month into my session Lmao! But I learned my lesson and eventually came around and fully listening to her perspective. Tia is very knowledgeable, friendly, customized my treatment plan to my lifestyle, and is just a kind authentic person. Thank you Tia for helping me regain my strength and gaining more knowledge. There were other staff that were involved that made my treatment experience enjoyable. Ariel, another physical therapist who is very knowledgeable and knew how to communicate the cause of your injury in a way that was easy to understand. He also has a great sense of humor so it was easy to chat with him.Kim, the boss aka jefa of keeping track of the exercises, caught on very quickly that I sucked at counting my reps and was very forgetful of how many sets I’ve done. Kim kept me a track and was also great at throwing some humor “so you just like to make numbers up” Lmao! She wasn’t wrong.Overall, thank you all for making my PT experience fun. Now I know I can come to Pro Staff if I get a little too courageous in my CrossFit/exercise journey.
